English Spirit Holloway Spiced

English Spirit distil their own rum base in Great Yeldham and infuse it with cinnamon, orange peel, vanilla and clove — no caramel colouring, no added sugar bomb. Nose: baked apple, mulled wine, star anise, a background of warm oak. Palate: cinnamon toast, orange marmalade, gentle vanilla, a slightly bitter dark cocoa finish that stops it becoming cloying. Easily the most drinkable British spiced rum on the market. Neat over ice or in a serious rum old fashioned.
